Jason Wright first will describe himself as Carrie’s husband, Rylan and Abby’s Dad and lastly a small business owner. Jason is a native East Texan from Sulphur Springs where his family roots date back over 100 years. Jason and wife Carrie are both graduates of Stephen F. Austin State University and are active members of Green Acres Baptist Church.

Jason and Carrie hand-picked Tyler over six years ago as a place to put down roots, purchase a business and raise their daughters. Since that time Jason has established himself as a community leader and self described ambassador for Tyler, TX.

Jason is very active in issues of personal property rights through both the Federal legislature as well as the state legislature. Jason helped strike down some Texas law maker’s desire to implement a transfer tax on real estate which could have needlessly added to the already unbalanced burden of property owners to fund government. Jason has worked diligently to stop the government’s uninhibited desire to infringe on the rights of property owners.

Jason is the past President of the Greater Tyler Association of Realtors. He is also a member of the Executive Board of Directors of the Texas Association of Realtors. He is the past President of the Tyler Sunrise Rotary Club, a former member of the Tyler YMCA Board of Directors and past Co-Chair of the Tyler Chamber Membership Drive. He is also on the Budget and Finance Committee of the Texas Association of Realtors. Jason is also a member of the Texas Association of Realtors Political Involvement Committee and Issues Mobilization Committee. He is a member of Leadership Tyler’s Class of 23. Jason is the past President of the CENTURY 21 East Texas Broker’s Council. Jason is a member of the Board of Directors for Crossing the World Ministries. Jason is also a founding member and member of the Board of Directors of Grassroots America: We the People.
